This offering is a bright and fragrant single origin Earl Grey, grown in Rwanda, close to the country’s border with the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Virunga National Park. In this region, the tea bushes grow slowly, at high altitude and relatively low temperatures, developing greater flavor before they are individually picked.
The leaf, bud and tender stem are carefully pinched together in a ‘perfect pick’, and then masterfully blended with bergamot to create this iconic afternoon tea. Enjoy on its own, or with a slice of lemon.
This selection is Rainforest Alliance Certified and produced in Birchall’s eco-friendly solar powered factory. Packed in plant based biodegradable teabags, each Birchall tea offering is 100% carbon neutral.
